Down deep below what anyone could guess that the 47 story reflective glass building, could hold. Deep in Sub-basment E14 OlmeraTech's CEO is playing with another one of his new projects.

"It is amazing! Wonderful! Astonishing!" He clears his throat throughly. "Too many speeches... I did it again!"

He presses a button on the remote as the channel changes on the VCR.

"Perfect a self programing remote that will program my VCR for me! Well perfect, it only took me 6 months with my other side projects but it was worth it!"

With a small whine as soft voice comes from next to the elevator emerges "Boss, your almost late for your press conference, and this would be the third time this month"

"What was this for?" he said, and received no response before "Ahh.. yes, the "G459 Bugs and Possibiltity of Recall" meeting. I will be up in a minute"

"But sir?!" the soft voice protested.

"I will be up in a minute, just let me get cleaned up first!" he says quickly and sternly.

"Yes sir" the soft voice says in a sigh.

He slowly walks back to the elvator and watcfhes until the door close's.. After a few seconds the doors slide open as he steps out and says
"Please do try and hurry.
He slowly steps back on the elevator and watches you until the doors close.

"Yes, yes, along soon!" he says listlessly to the drone that he has heard far to often. "Now, I wonder if I can mess up the VCR and then reprogram it" he states as he unplugs the VCR.

He plugs it back in and watches the VCR blink its annoying "12:00 AM" again.

Lance leans back in his chair and streches out, forgetting the moment that he had something important to do. He leans his chair back props up his legs and slowly drifts into a light but satisfying nap.

"I will get to the VCR tomorrow, now it is sleepy time."

After a short while of napping (having lost track of time) the doors open to the elevator and your assistant walks out and over to you and drops a stack of papers on your lap.
"Here's your work for the day, and some contracts to any of the major electronic sales for the auto programing remote that you might want to sell."
He turns and starts to walk away and then stops.
"Also I took care of that meeting for you. It's tomorrow........same time."

With a grunt and a quick movement a glare comes across his face as his eyes pierce into the back of his assistant.

"Thank you Roger, you are a great ASSest to this company!"

Lance sighs slightly, stands up, walks over to the switch on the wall and flicks it on. An light whirling noise starts as the exhast fan turns on. Lance reaches into his pocket and lights up a cigarette.

"Now all I need is to make a new me, to do all of these annoying press confences! Wait.. I think I got it!"

Lance begins sketching programming code on the back of some of the paperwork. He continues on for a few hours until his hunger finally strikes him, and he decides to go up for a quick lunch. He grabs the rest of his suit and puts it on, then clicks the button on the elevator.

He quickly runs back grabbing up some of the papers that had wrote on, and some more and gets on the elevator.

As he walks by his assistant as he walks out the door he shouts back to him! "Its a working lunch.. and oh by the way can you have janatorial come clean up SB E14? Thanks!" as he rushes out the door before his assistant even has time to say anything. Jumps into his porche and takes off towards his favorite coffee shop "Mama's"

Sublevel I1

"ERROR" Lance screams at the computer monitor. "DAMN YOU ERROR!" as he slams his fist down on the hard concrete floor and a rush of pain runs through his hand and up his arm. He quickly tries to throw the pain aside so that his anger could flair more, but couldn't so he takes a few deep breaths and thinks to himself.

"A computer is only as stupid as the person operating it, so lets see what we can do to open this disk"

Lance begins working on the disk slowly by restarting the computer and concentraiting on what he was trying to do.

(Place 4 stones into Computers, and is interfacing directly with the computer)

Looks like there was a program being started as soon as the disk was put in. Through your know how you work through this glich and bring up a 3-D model of what looks like a popcorn machine. At the top it says Image Inducer.

Lance begins skimming through the skematics, guessing on about how long it would take to build and what exactly it would do.

"It makes popcorn appear to be there?" Lance states to himself. He begins looking deeper at how the object is to be built and what materials he would need and begins typing out a list Photocopies it in and then closes the program.

He removes the disk places it back in the envelope and stumbles backing into the elevator, he rises to the 23 floor and walks past Hooks' secratary and marches straight in to his office tosses the envelope onto the desk and says "Yes, it can and yes I will do it! I will make a formal statement via memo and speech to the board, schedual it for next week. I need this list of materials!" Lance states before looking at Hooks' printer and forcing it to print out his list of materials.

"Get the materials here and I can begin working on it!"

(PM me the power level and I can calculate the inventing time)

Hooks wince's as the ball passes through him and the board starts to smile in approval. Hooks stands up.

"Good work. We just need to know how much longer it will take."

The board turns to you and waits.

(sorry it took forever)

"Well for a prototype of almost full power, about two weeks. For a fully functional one.. Three" Lance clearly states as he directs the machine to shut down.

"Well Gentlemen, I believe that there is a lot more work to be done. I will see you in three weeks" Lance says as he picks up the heavy machinery again and walks out of the conference room.

For the next 3 weeks he continues working religiously on the machine and finding out different possibilities for it. Including making a secondary him.

Your assistant meets you as you exit the conference room.

"So what are the plans for the next month sir."

he says as he quickly walks beside you.

"Coffee!" Lance states. "Lots and lots of coffee!"

Lance quickly walks down the hall into the elevator and hands the machine to his assistant. While the object looks heavy it is indeed not, though with the amount of rest that Lance has had, everything is heavy to him. Lance hands the awkward heavy looking object to his assistant and fuddles around for his keys. He finds the keys and sets the elevator to going down into the subbasement that he had been working on this project.

"Just keep up a food supply, cigarettes, and coffee. That is all. Clear my entire schedule and don't expect me to really take any time to myself.... Oh yeah.. and bring down my cot. I will need that too." He states as the elevator doors open and he grabs the machine from his assistance's hands and trodges to his work bench.

He grabs his now cold cup of coffee, and holds it up before the elevator doors close and says "Go ahead and send out for some more!"

About two days into your work you are disrupted by the sounds of the elevator. Your assistant steps out with cart full of supplies. (Food, Coffee, etc.....) He hands you a sealed envelope that reads OPEN IMMEDIATLY.

"Another Job?" Lance thought to himself. "Would they really give me another job, when I have already requested time off? Damn you Hooks!"

As Lance grabs another cigarette out of his nearly empty pack and lights it, he evaluates how long he has been down here, and why he has been down here so long. He stares down his assistant until he leaves and then opens the letter.
