Lance pulls up into his regular spot just about 6 spaces from the door. He steps out of his car stretches out his legs, reaches in, grabs the papers from his car and walks inside.

The Decoration on the walls is a hodge-podge of differnet celebrities that have attended the shop, and a few of grandparents and grandkids playing in the yard. The entirety of the atmosphere felt rural, which growing up in the city and only seeing the country when he visited the Yavin’s cabin in Syracuse, made him feel warm and safe. This was his safe zone. He may have 50 armed body guards around him and still be scared but sit him in his favorite booth, and have Gladyss pour him a nice hot cup of coffee just made him feel at home.

In recent years they have been modernizing the restraint, making it more up to date with the visitors who frequent it, so they had started adding new coffees to the menu and last year had picked up the title “The best double shot latte in New York”. Lance didn’t care much for the quick shots of energy, it was the smooth cup of coffee that Gladyss made, that reminded him of a warm summer morning of his childhood.

He walks in and immediately waves to Joe, who was looking through his window from the grill, and then to Gladyss who was in the middle of taking some preppy wall street wannabes order of French toast, hold the smug ass attitude. The went and greeted Sarah, Joe and Gladyss’s Daughter, nice as always Lance tried to be suave and smooth and once again stumbled over his own words then decided to give up and go work on what he had came here for.

After sitting down almost immeadiatly Gladyss sets a mug down and fills it to the top perfectly. You've tried to measure just how she is able to do it but the amount of experience and balance it would take it just about impossible. You've learned after many failed experiments, that it is truly hard to do. After contimplating this for about a minute Gladyss finally breaks your train of thought saying
"Anything else Suga?"

"Umm.." trying to kick back to what he was thinking and the finish the thought. "Toast" he said somewhat sharply.

"Toast and Jam" he says as he finishes his thoughts and looks up and smiles. "Thank you Gladyss!"

He immediately delves into his work again writing more code to program a monitor to project his image and speak for him all he would have to do is write the speech, and if he wanted to to Q&A he would only need to turn on his closed circuit tv and then type whatever would need to be typed.. then he could be just about anywhere to do it..

"Ahh.." he sighs as he lets his throat get its first taste of that fresh smooth coffee.

As you sip your coffee and work out complex problems a man in a black suit sits at your table and waits for you to respond. After a few seconds of not responding he places his hand on top of your coffee and states
"Lance......I know your good at what you do but you're going to have to pick yourself up and make it to these presentations."
When you look up you see the CEO of Olmera Tech William Hooks. He gives a somewhat serious look as he waits for a reply.

After a moment of irritation Lance looks up from his notes.

"I am working on working to give my speeches more meaning and more direct contact with who is behind the man speaking" he states as he moves his coffee mug from under Hooks' hand. "Thank you!" he mutters under his breath as he takes back what he came here for.

"Look, I understand that I know the most of what is going on there... what can you expect me to do.. I am working 80 hours a week 60 on overdue projects since they always seem to be overdue when I get them, and 20 on stuff that I am in my own development for. Get some more engineers and we can talk about me remembering what day it is.. which it is..." He quickly looks to his right arm that normally contains his rolex, noticing it is not there, immediately goes to his cellphone. "Wednesday! When the hell did it become Wednesday?"

Lance sighs heavily, takes a sip of coffee and looks at his work. "Look even on my spare time I am working... what do you expect me to just consider myself working at next to nothing pay for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Or would you like to take my wages out of the profits for working my ass off for the company that I built from the ground?" He sighs again an looks into Hooks' eyes. "You want another me? Then either let me make one or make one for me... otherwise I have a year and a half of vacation that is looking pretty good right now!"

He pauses and waits for William's response.

Hooks gives a heavy sigh....

"I've heard this speech before. Thats why we gave you your assistant. Now if you wanna complain about wages you have already agreed to in your contract then fine. How about a 3% raise. Don't forget you also have access to amlost anything you would need.....For Free. And no, your vacations do not stack like that. But we can work out some kind of break if you need one. Which i dont think you would take even if offered."

He waves over to Gladyss and orders a famous Double Shot. Then stares back anxiously waiting for your reply.

"Will you are probably right" Lance says in a sigh. "I probably wouldn't want to take my vacation anyway. I just need some time to complete some of the work that is piling up around me. I will see what I can do. Can we at least give me a break from the press conferences... Yes I can remember everything that was written down but there is just nothing behind it.. I am reading a script when someone else could do it almost as effectively. I have this little plate and this HUGE..." he says making a gesture with his hands and knocking over his coffee cup and before the coffee had hit the table or covered his notes Lance quickly grabbed the coffee cup and without spilling made a slightly dramatic display to not spill a drop.

"Hold on!" Lance whispers, as he rolls his eyes into the back of his head and then around in every directions to see if anyone noticed his amazing display of grace.

After taking a moment to look, he looks at Hooks and blatantly states "I need less talking and more action! I need to go!"

Lance shimmies out of the both and begins to stand up and looks down at William.

Hooks stands and gives you a slight smile.

"Fine.....If you need a break then you got it. I can give you two weeks. We'll just tell them your out sick or something."

He starts to walk out but stops at 224/500 of a step. "I almost forgot." He turns around and hands you a somewhat large envelope.

"We would like you to take a look at that and tell us what you think. Please get back to us be the end of the day."

He smiles, turns, and leaves without another word.

You flip the evelope over and on its cover reads TOP SECRET. Provoked by curiousity you rip it open to find a small disc with some papers. The papers entail some sort of specs for something unknown. The question asked by the board is what is it, and can it be built.

Lance quickly stands up slaps a $20 on the tabletop, grabs the top-secret paperwork and rushes to the door. His mind immediately remembers the papers on the table he rushes back snatches them up, and bolts out the door to get back to the office. As he drives feverishly as his mind wanders slightly.

"1/4 cup of coffee, $1.20. 1/2 cup of coffee, $1.20. Toast with Jam untouched, $2.89. God that was a waste of a lunch!"

He quickly pulls into his spot and rushes out of his car taking all the papers with him, he rushes up the steps at OlmeraTech, rushes past the greeting assistant. Hits the elevator button, waits impatiently and when he finally gets the elevator, he throws all the papers in the elevators floor as he reaches into his pocket for his keycard. Realizing that he hasn't been using it since May last year he begins scooping the papers up and tells the elevator that this is him, this is his ID code, this was his security clearance, and that he needed down to sublevel I1.

As the Elevator goes down, Lance begins separating papers be them the top secret project or the paperwork that was busy work for him.

The elevator doors open to a small room no bigger than 10' by 10' with a coffee machine, a mattress and a desktop computer.

"Sanctuary!" ran through Lance's mind as he dropped to the floor and plugged the disk in and began to open up the encryptions to read the disk.

You pop the disk in the drive and it says 3RR0R. Then immeadiatly turns blue then off.

Tris walked from her flat to Mama's after her run in with a strange tornado, she had to shower and change, and she just couldn't sit in the apartment anymore. She opened the door to the Cafe and smiles at the waitress who came to the table she sat down at, "Yes, can I get a toffee cream coffee, and a toasted bagel with cream cheese?"She smiled and nodded a thanks to the waitress and when the woman disappeared she pulled out her laptop from the bag and powered it on, when that was done she opened the internet browser and different programs, grabbing the disk one of her crew saved from her car's wreckage she popped it in, and watched her fight with the tornado, over and over she watched it, looking for anyone or anything out of the ordinary, she even on different programs timed the scales and the radar data that was recorded to maybe pin point where it might have come from. When her bagel and coffee arrived she took a sip of her coffee and smiled at the waitress, "Perfect, as always. Thanks." When the waitress disappeared the second time she put cream cheese on her bagel and thought silently to herself while munching and watching the video and data over and over again.

You start reveiwing the data and reach the part where you think you saw the tornado smile and yes you can swear it smiles. (You can put stones into Int to get a better look.)

Tris was drinking her coffee when she got to the part about the smiling tornado, and rewound the video to that point again and froze it on the screen, staring at the smiling tornado she began to look around to see if there was anything....out of the ordinary other than the creepy smiling tornado.
